PSiC Payroll runs payroll for Managed and Unmanaged clients

MANAGED PAYROLL CLIENTS:

  • Each month, Camden Council will send to us your direct payment. With this money, we will make payments on your behalf:
    • If you employ PA(s), we will run payroll to your instructions each month. We will send the net pay to your PA(s) bank account directly on the pay dates listed. We will also send you the payslips, which you must give to your PA(s) each month.
    • If you use an agency, we will receive the invoices directly from the agency and make payments to them directly for the support that they provide to you.
  • At the end of each financial quarter, we will send you a statement which shows you how much you have received from Camden, how much you have paid out, and the money that you have left in the account. This is like receiving a bank statement and is just for you to keep for your records.
  • We will make payments to HMRC and your Employers Insurance Company as and when required on your behalf and deduct payroll costs monthly.

At the end of the Tax Year (in March) we will make final submissions to HMRC and send you P60s which you need to give to your PA(s).

CHANGES:

  • If you indicate that your PA works the same hours each week, we will require you to inform us of any changes (e.g. hours, change in personal details, holiday/sick leave) by the 12th of each month.
  • If you indicate that your PA works different hours each week, we will require you to inform us of hours worked and changes (e.g. personal details, holiday/sick leave) by the 20th of each month.

UNMANAGED PAYROLL CLIENTS:

  • Each month, Camden Council will send your monthly direct payment to your prepaid card or directly to your bank account;
    • We will run payroll to your instructions each month and send you payslips and a Report Pack. You will make the payment to your PA for the net amount (highlighted in yellow) and give the payslip to your PA(s). You will keep the report pack for your records.
    • If you use an agency, you will receive the invoices directly from the agency and will make payments to them using your prepaid card or direct payment bank account
  • If you are an employer, we will advise you if and when you are required to make payments to HMRC each quarter. We will tell you how much you need to pay HMRC and how to make the payment-  This will be in July (Q1), October (Q2), January (Q3), and April (Q4).
  • We will send you an invoice after each quarter for payroll services. The invoice will explain to you how to make the payment to PSiC Payroll.

At the end of the Tax Year (in March) we will make final submissions to HMRC and send you P60s which you need to give to your PA(s).

PA PENSIONS - AUTOMATIC ENROLMENT

All employers are now required by law to provide a workplace pension scheme for certain staff and pay money into it; this is called automatic enrolment.

PSiC and PSiC Payroll will work with you to ensure that your automatic enrolment duties are being met. We will:

  • Support you in setting up a pension scheme
  • Assess your work force to see who is eligible for automatic enrolment and who can opt into the pension scheme
  • Send letters to your PAs about automatic enrolment
  • Register your PAs who are automatically enrolled or who select to opt in
  • Calculate each month how much of your PA's wages will go into their pension scheme and if you are meant to contribute, how much you need to pay
  • Make monthly payments to your pension scheme:
    • If you are a managed PSiC Payroll client, we will make monthly payments on your behalf for those PAs who are in the pension scheme
    • If you are an unmanaged PSiC Payroll client, we will inform your pension scheme how much to deduct from your bank account or pre-paid card each month or we will provide you with instructions on how to make the monthly payments to your pension scheme
